Black Pearl Chocolates: Queensland – Fral FDNF44
Black Pearl Chocolates is the manufacturer of gourmet confectionery and chocolates. CEO Peter Gross refers to it as the “home of the foodie’s lolly shop”.
Storing chocolates can pose some problems anywhere, but especially in a tropical climate. Peter’s top shelf chocolates are stored in a sealed cool room so the temperature is not a problem.
Whilst air-conditioning does a fine job with temperature control, it does not sufficiently remove unwanted moisture (humidity/condensation). The chocolates were still spoiling.
When Peter called Moisture Cure we soon realised he needed a dehumidifier to control the humidity levels within the cool room. After some brain storming and calculations Moisture Cure recommended a Fral FDNF44 commercial dehumidifier with a condensate lift pump as the appropriate type and size for his application.
Nearly three months after the installation Black Pearl Chocolates are 100% happy with their decision. Peter’s comments are “Moisture Cure’s entire approach was great. They assessed my requirements, recommended a suitable product and delivered on time. I couldn’t be happier”.
